on Sunday, June 8, 2025, there was a serious traffic accident at 3:00 p.m. on the K 23 between Daubach and Bockenau. A 58-year-old motorcyclist who was traveling with a group lost control in a curve for so far unclear reasons and slipped onto the opposite lane, where he collided head-on with a car.

The motorcyclist suffered the serious injuries and immediately had to be taken to a hospital with a rescue helicopter. The 64-year-old driver and his passenger, on the other hand, were unharmed. The accident site was completely closed for about two hours, and the total damage to the vehicles is around 20,000 euros.
