Trier, Deutschland - Yesterday in Trier there was a large traffic control that targeted over 350 vehicles! The police, supported by forces from several federal states as well as from Luxembourg and Belgium, used drug advances. The tests were carried out in 17 cases - 12 drivers were able to prove their innocence and were allowed to continue, while blood samples were ordered in 5 cases and corresponding procedures were initiated.

In addition, the officials carried out six criminal proceedings and 62 administrative offense procedures and enforced an arrest warrant. In around 20 cases, road users were not allowed to continue.
