Security proceeds: Mainz is fighting for children in road traffic!

Polizeipräsidium Mainz, Deutschland - On June 3, a nationwide campaign day for the safety of children on road traffic took place, and the Mainz police headquarters was full of strength! The aim of the day was to raise awareness of the special risks around children in traffic. The police increased measures to improve security on school routes and focused on the traffic -contrary "parent taxis", speed overruns, cell phone use at the wheel and the correct securing of children in the car.

The response of the population was overwhelmingly positive. Many citizens showed great understanding of the campaign and supported the efforts of the police to safety their children. The Mainz police are planning to continue to take measures in the future in order to further increase the safety of the smallest road users.
