In the night of Sunday, a bizarre incident occurred at the Pentecost Volksfest in Neustadt an der Donau. A 19-year-old, who was visibly hungry and drunk, tried to steal a grill skewer with five frozen grill chicken from the cooling of the festival tent. While the celebrations were already over and the tent was closed, the young man took the skewer to get a snack.
But his plan was not unnoticed. An employee of the security service noticed the activity and addressed the thief. The security employee confronted the 19-year-old and withdrew the grill spit before he could escape with his prey.
