Telemedicine is also new in use, which enables emergency doctors to be brought in quickly in less critical cases.

The increasing production and personnel costs burden the entire festival industry, which is also reflected in the ticket prices. These are 248 euros in the first price segment. eyescontact reports that the prices for food and drinks on the festival site are also skyrocketed with burgers that are sold for up to 15 euros.
parallel to Rock im Park, Rock am Ring in the Eifel celebrates its 40th anniversary, and both festivals take place from June 6th to 8th. Rock am Ring started in 1985 with around 70,000 fans and less than 20 bands. The parallel anniversary of these two festivals is celebrated by the industry, and the Federal Association of Livekomm describes them as the pioneer of modern German festival culture.
