The Busters, known for your hit song "Defend you, resist ...", are on your loud tour through Germany. Her appearance was not only a musical contribution, but also a clear announcement against right -wing extremist currents. Music is often used by extremist groups to spread their ideologies, as various reports on right -wing extremist music events show. These serve in the identity foundation and recruitment of young people and are often launched by organizations such as the NPD and "the rights".
At right-wing extremist festivals, such as the "Schild & Schwert" festival, music and martial arts are often central elements that contribute to the spread of extremist ideologies. Although the number of visitors of such events lose weight, their importance remains high in the scene. The "fight of the Nibelungen" tournament, which is organized by right-wing extremists, shows how these topics manifest themselves. Security authorities observe such developments carefully and implement measures to combat extremist activities.
