A tree fall and two serious accidents are currently keeping the region around Kuhfelde in suspense. Last Sunday, July 21, 2025, a dramatic incident occurred on the federal road 248 in the afternoon when a tree suddenly fell on a moving car. The car was significantly damaged, so it finally had to be towed. The driver himself was shocked by the sudden incident and received the necessary medical care in the ambulance.

A closer look at the damage shows that there is a not inconsiderable amount. The damage is estimated on an upper four -digit amount and the guardrail did not get away. The federal road had to be closed for about an hour to clarify the situation and avert further dangers.

Another accident took place on the same day, in which a 37-year-old driver of a Skoda also got into difficulties on the route between Kuhfelde and Salzwedel. As TAG24 describes in detail, the man stated that he had fallen into the footwell while driving. In the attempt to grasp afterwards, he lost control of his vehicle and raced head -on against a tree.

The impact led to the injury of the driver, who had to be taken to the hospital. The damage to the Skoda is considerable and is estimated on a five -digit amount. This car could also only be towed after the emergency services were on site.
