Countdown to the Hanse and Heimatfest: Celebrate with us in Salzwedel!

A very big festival will be celebrated in Salzwedel in a few days: On Thursday, June 26, 2025, the local and Hanseatic Festival begins with a varied opening program. The district music schools raise the musical rounds with concerts and a brass serenade also creates a festive atmosphere in the Hanseat. Fans of live music can look forward to the entertainment with artists such as 410 Youngins and Jan Böhme from 9 p.m., while the music school of the Altmark district offers a musical walk with young talents from the Stendal district. The brass serenade is entertaining by Cantor Roland J. Dyck takes place at 7 p.m. in the St. Marienkirche.

The structure of the historic Hanse market is progressing quickly. This opens on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 2 p.m. and will open its doors in front of the town hall and at the Mönchskirche.
