Gigantic cranes lift something new in Weißandt-Gölzau: manufacturing with a future!

Last week, a significant step was taken in the Weißandt-Gölzau industrial area: the heart of Pergande's new production facility was delivered and successfully installed. The installation was carried out using an impressive heavy-duty crane, capable of lifting parts weighing up to 18 tonnes. A total of four large pieces of equipment were used in this project, including two granulators and two safety filters. These were brought to their final location through precisely fitting ceiling openings, like MZ.de reported.

Heavy-duty cranes are essential for such assembly and manufacturing processes, as loads weighing several hundred tons often have to be moved. These special forces in crane technology are characterized by a robust construction and powerful lifting gear and are dependent on maximum availability. A stationary crane can bring the entire work process to a standstill. Companies like VAHLE specialize in this and offer tailor-made solutions for heavy-duty applications, which were also used in this project. You can find out more about this on the website VAHLE.

A big step for the region

The new polymer plant will produce important additives for detergent production in the future. The laying of the foundation stone for the facility took place in February of this year, with Prime Minister Reiner Haseloff and Economics Minister Sven Schulze present. With a total volume of 24 million euros, commissioning is targeted for the second quarter of next year. The prospects that this project offers for the region are particularly encouraging: around 20 new jobs will be created, while existing positions will be secured in the long term.

The technical challenges involved in building the facility should not be underestimated. High-performance cranes such as the CC 78.1250-1 and the AC 5.250L-2 from the Tadano Group, for example, which have impressive lifting capacities and safety features, are crucial for the successful implementation of such large-scale projects. Tadano offers a wide portfolio of innovative lifting technology that ensures efficiency and safety when handling heavy loads.

The progress in Weißandt-Gölzau is therefore much more than just a construction project - it is a signal for the future of the region and a significant step towards innovation and economic stability. If all goes well, the new location could soon become a driver for new jobs and a thriving economy.
