Rockharz Festival: 25,000 metal fans celebrate in Ballenstedt!

BLAY in the sun and with a powerful guitar sound from the background, the Rockharz Festival in Ballenstedt is again a magnet for metal fans. On 6. July 2025 The organizers expect around 25,000 visitors to one of the largest metal open airs in Germany. Many guests already set off on Tuesday to enjoy the four -day event to the fullest.

On two stages, an impressive list of over 50 bands from different metal genres will inspire the audience. The headliners are none other than King Diamond, Powerwolf, Heaven Shall Burn, in Extremo, Apocalyptica, Saxon and Dragonforce . With such a line-up it is clear that the expectations are high and that the mood is already splendid in advance.

The organizers have prepared well for the coming hot days. Water points have been set up to provide fresh water traveling. In addition, additional shadow places were created, including new areas on the Infield and two new water points to give visitors a pleasant time even at high temperatures. The co -organizer Kai Wilhelm emphasizes that you have learned from the experience of previous years and do everything possible to have the guests an unforgettable stay.

But the Rockharz Festival is not the only big event for metal fans in Germany this year. Also the famous Wacken Open Air , that of 30.
