A worrying weekend on the B187a: On September 17, 2025, there was a traffic accident between Pißdorf and Porst around 4 p.m., in which a 28-year-old driver was injured. He was trying to overtake a truck when a vehicle suddenly came towards him in oncoming traffic. As a result, he lost control of his VW, left the road, hit a tree and a guide post before the car finally came to a stop in an adjacent field. But it wasn't just this accident that caused excitement on the B187a. On the same weekend, just a few minutes later, a 31-year-old Ford driver suffered a serious accident between Bias and Steutz in the Anhalt-Bitterfeld district at around 4:56 p.m. The driver lost control of his vehicle in an S-curve, rolled over and landed on its roof in the ditch. He was taken to hospital in Zerbst with serious injuries. The police have started investigating the exact circumstances of the accident; the amount of damage is estimated at over 20,000 euros Day24 reported.
