Oschersleben celebrates the Day of the Regions: A celebration for the whole family!
The “Day of the Regions” will take place in Oschersleben on Sunday, October 5, 2025. Under the motto “Strong Regions – Strong Democracy”, a colorful program will be offered in the city center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free and the event aims to showcase the diversity and richness of the region. Around 85 exhibitors, including clubs, direct marketers and producers, are ready to present their offers. This not only focuses on culture, but also on regionality and sustainability Börde district emphasized.
But what exactly can visitors expect? This is ensured by a market of opportunities where regional suppliers present their products. The culinary specialties should not be missing: grilled sandwiches, fries, chips, hand bread, waffles and crepes are on the menu. The event also offers an excellent cultural program. Visitors can look forward to performances by the Oschersleben wind orchestra, the band “Trumpet & more” and the dance school “B.Fitness”. The day begins at 9 a.m. with a service in the St. Nicolai Church. From 10 a.m. there will be music from the Kurt Masur district music school on the market square. The highlight follows at 11 a.m. with the traditional handover of the harvest basket.

The day is rounded off by a shopping Sunday, with many retailers open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The city library and the city museum also invite you from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For book lovers, the library cellar has a book flea market. Arriving on foot or by bike is recommended, although free parking is available at the festival site on Friedensstrasse and the surrounding parking lots. A parking and stopping ban has been in effect since Thursday evening at the town hall, Hackelberg and Halberstädter Straße until Sunday at 8 p.m.
