Prevention workshop: strengthen girls against loverboys!
This day, it is more important than ever to educate young women about the dangers of the Loverboy method. This refined form of human trafficking, which aims to take advantage of emotions and force young women into prostitution, has achieved worrying dimensions. On August 28, 2025, a workshop will be offered in Haldensleben to address specialists in child and youth welfare and interested parties. The goal: strengthen the ability to act against loverboys and to recognize important signs of emotional dependency. Börde district reports on this initiative with comprehensive information on the topics of the workshop, the organization and registration.
The workshop takes place from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Haldensleben district office and is free of charge. It will be organized by the competence center for gender-friendly child and youth work as well as the prevention team of the Vera e.V. As part of the prevention days "stop to violence", this workshop will play an important role, in which theoretical units, practical exercises and exchange of experiences are also on the program.
