First job fair in Zeitz: 65 companies are looking for new talent!
Something is happening in Zeitz! The first job fair will take place on August 28th, which is not only known as a career information fair, but also offers a completely new format. Over 65 regional companies bring their offers directly to people. Whether internships, apprenticeships, dual study programs or positions for experienced professionals and career changers - no wish remains unfulfilled here. Loud MZ Big names such as Sinnack Baking Specialties Droßdorf, Remondis Recycling and Elma Maschinenbau Zeitz are represented among the exhibitors. The event will take place in the gymnasium of the vocational school at Werkstraße 1 and begins at 2:30 p.m. Those interested have until 6:00 p.m. to look around.
The trade fair is organized by the structural development and economic development company Burgenlandkreis (Sewig) - a clear sign of regional development. “Change Courage” is the motto of the fair, which aims to encourage people to explore new professional perspectives. The focus is particularly on young people and school leavers, but also parents and everyone who wants to take a new career path or find their way back to working life after a break. There will also be multilingual tours in English and Ukrainian, and the first 100 visitors will receive free ice cream - that tastes like a great treat!

The fair not only brings people together, but also a wide range of professional opportunities. From the Chamber of Crafts to various educational institutions and local companies – the number of participants shows how committed the region is to career guidance. The Burgenlandkreis has paid particular attention to promoting professional growth and creating networks.
