The largest Trojan horse is in the family and children's park of the Winckelmann Museum in Stendal. This impressive sculpture is made of a stable steel structure and clad with cedar wood. With a height of 15.60 meters, a length of 13 meters and a width of 9.50 meters, the horse not only looks gigantic, it also brings interesting aspects of Greek mythology closer. Inside, visitors can climb through the replica of the famous horse and learn more about the Trojan War. The guests also have a fantastic view of the city of Stendal from the upper platform. Visitors had the opportunity to experience the legend of the Trojan horse up close, which stimulates the imagination of the children and unfolds exciting stories. The artwork was originally designed for the 2001 Troja exhibition in Braunschweig and found its way to Stendal in 2003. On the Peißnitzinsel in Halle there is an exciting schedule with the title "Your, mine, our hall on Salle!" During the summer vacation. This event runs from June 13 to July 19, 2025 and invites children and adolescents between the ages of 7 and 14 to shape and manage their own city.
