What’s new in the Innerstetal? On August 31, 2025, it's finally that time again: The 27th AOK - Bicycle Experience Day is just around the corner and invites all cycling enthusiasts, inline skaters and soccer-running families to enjoy the beautiful nature around the Innerstetal. Under the motto “Car-free Innerstetal”, the municipality ensures that motorized vehicles are not allowed access during the event on highway 515 from Langelsheim to Wildemann. You can move about 20 kilometers undisturbed on two wheels or with inline skates from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The patron of this great event is Dr. Alexander Saipa, the district administrator of the Goslar district. At various stations along the route there are numerous activities for young and old that will ensure they never get bored. In Lautenthal, visitors can expect not only a delicious cake buffet, but also music and a wide range of games, including the popular AOK giant slide. A special highlight: The AOK Rally, where participant cards are available at the Wildemann Tourist Information Center and at the dam!
A supporting program for the whole family
Entertainment is also guaranteed. From 10 a.m. at Schützenplatz in Wildemann, a colorful program with mood and feel-good hits will ensure the best atmosphere. There is an AOK bouncy castle for the little ones where they can let off steam to their heart's content. If you are looking for even more adventure, we recommend a visit to the 19-Lachter-Stollen visitor mine in Wildemann. The outdoor swimming pool in Langelsheim is also open free of charge for participants - a perfect place to cool off after a day of sport.
