As part of a special hike, we explored the Paracelsus Harz Clinic in Bad Suderode. On Tuesday, March 4th, Kiehne accompanied a group that included, among others, the older man Günther. Despite his limited mobility and the steep climb to the clinic, Günther didn't want to miss the three-hour tour. The challenge was great because the path was unsuitable for walkers. But the group was undeterred: with their combined strength, they pushed Günther up the steep slope in an electric wheelchair.
An unforgettable experience
What willpower! Despite all the obstacles, they finally reached the summit. Once there, Günther was overjoyed and described the experience as the highlight of his hospital stay. Kiehne explained that he also found the tour to be one of the most beautiful experiences in his 14 years as a storyteller.
