Lower Saxony in the theme park ranking: Krodoland disappoints!

Amusement parks attract numerous visitors every year and are an important pillar in tourism and entertainment. The recently published evaluation of over 1.3 million online reviews of 110 leisure and adventure parks in Germany now clearly shows who is particularly popular with the public. So it turns out that Irrland in Kevelaer is at the top of the ranking with an impressive 4.8 stars.

It is not without reason that Irrland is awarded the title of most popular theme park. Visitors praise the variety of play options, the inviting water landscapes and the loving design of the park, which is particularly suitable for families with small children up to 12 years old. A highlight is certainly the excellent price-performance ratio, even if the park does not have classic rides.

The top 3 theme parks

The Second in the league, the Europa Park in Rust, is also very popular across Europe with its spectacular roller coasters and the detailed design of the themed worlds. With an overall rating of 4.7 stars, it impresses not only with its attractions, but also with its professional organization. The adventure park ranks just behind Trip drill in Cleebronn, which also achieved 4.7 stars and scores with a nostalgic atmosphere and the adjacent wildlife park.

But not all parks perform so positively. The Westerheim Family Park took last place with a rating of 3.4 stars and faces numerous complaints about broken attractions and unsanitary plumbing. In second to last place is the Herne Family Park, which also struggles with outdated play equipment and a lack of maintenance.

A look at Lower Saxony

For the Lower Saxony region, the balance sheet does not look so brilliant. The only park from the region in the ranking Krodoland in Bad Harzburg, occupies third-to-last place with 3.6 stars. Over the years the park has become less attractive, but it still has a friendly operator. The best-placed parks in Lower Saxony are Rasti-Land and Dinosaur Park Münchenhagen, both with 4.6 stars, although there are a few other parks that achieve respectable ratings.

The average rating of all theme parks is 4.37 stars, which shows that many parks are consistently well received. It should be particularly emphasized that parks with more than 4.4 stars are considered above average and are therefore a good address for a day trip.

Whether in Europa-Park, in Irrland or in Tripsdrill - the theme parks offer their visitors exciting adventures, whereas less popular parks are best advised to rethink their offerings in order to attract more guests. At the same time, in another Ranking confirms that Europa-Park is also one of the best at European level, with an audience vote of almost 5 stars. This shows that the desire for adventure and time out from the hustle and bustle of everyday life is still strong and people are more than ever looking for the opportunity to make unforgettable memories.
