People's and Rifle Festival in Weddersleben: Celebrate with us!

In Weddersleben, the folk and shooting festival is just around the corner, which is celebrated from July 18 to 20, 2025. Preparations are already in full swing and the anticipation is great. The festival will open on Friday evening at 7.30 p.m. with a colorful program. The band dancing tea in the marquee creates a good atmosphere and invites you to dance and celebrate.

Saturday offers a variety of activities for young and old. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., visitors can browse the (children's) flea market on the fairground for bargains. The title competitions for the folk king and the Schlump shooters start at 3 p.m., while at 3:30 p.m. a magic show by "Der Trixxxer" inspires the youngest festival visitors. Musically, the day is accompanied by a Roger-Whittaker double at 4.30 p.m. There are also exciting Ju-Jutsu demonstrations, archery and a fire service exercise that round off the program. In the evening it is time to "go to the dance floor"-DJ music and a spectacular laser show are on the plan from 8 p.m.

Sunday becomes a high point with a festive move. The parade begins at 9.30 a.m., the meeting takes place at 9 a.m. on the fairground. The morning pint and the cup shooting will follow from 12.30 p.m. There are face painting for the smaller visitors in the afternoon, and everyone will be at the proclamation of the "Best 2025", which takes place in connection with the pouring out of the deer king.

tickets for the festival are available in advance, including at the EDDI market, in the local office and in street sales. There is also the possibility of free entry for visitors to the flea market - means that you can save twice!
