A courageous Weimarer was victim to an attack on Friday night while trying to help an apparently frightened woman in Belvederer Allee. After watching a quarreling couple, the 44-year-old spoke to the man, who then struck with a crutch that he used to support. The situation escalated, as was the woman expressing that she should be left alone.

After the attack, the Weimar remained injured and had to be taken to the clinic with a head wound. Investigations by the police run, but so far there is no evidence of the perpetrator or the couple.
