Current construction sites in Magdeburg: Traffic information for June!

In Cologne, the current construction site situation ensures some traffic changes that many drivers and road users should not miss. The Sudenburger Wuhne between Fichtestrasse and Otto-Richter-Straße is now accessible again, the full closure in the intersection area Alexander-Puschkin-Straße was also lifted prematurely. But while relaxation comes in at such places, there are also new challenges.

From June 30th, urgently needed road construction work on Friedrich-Ebert-Straße begins. These are carried out in two phases: First, from June 30th to July 4th, the eastern direction of travel is blocked, followed by a blocking of the western direction of travel from July 7th to 11th. Deadover routes are signposted via Cracauer Straße so that passers -by and drivers can plan the changes in good time.

news in the traffic situation

At the same time, Galileostraße will also be closed north from June 30th between Lunochodstraße and Otto-Baer-Straße until December 19. This long time window indicates that there are extensive work that aims at a sustainable improvement in the traffic infrastructure, as can be seen from the PTV Group.

Another example of the current traffic restrictions is the Great Diesdorfer Straße, which from June 30th to August 8th between Aufsstraße and Walbecker Straße cannot be freely used in both directions due to management work. There are also restrictions on the Magdeburger Ring, since daily street damage loans from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to 4 p.m. to 4th to 4th affect the outskirts leading in the city at Ziolokowskistrasse and Neuer Sülzweg.

traffic forecasts and information

ADAC Maps , disorders and the flow of traffic can be kept in mind on motorways and in cities. This data is particularly important to react to the construction sites and the changing traffic conditions that are triggered by the work above.

The more we look into the future, the more decisive a well -developed traffic infrastructure. It not only helps to avoid traffic jams, but also improves the quality of life in our cities. The consistent analysis of traffic data, as provided by the PTV Group, is an essential step in this direction. In particular, the need to adapt our infrastructure to demographic and economic changes will continue to increase in the coming years.

The changes in the Cologne traffic situation require increased attention from the citizens. Through the planning and maintenance of the infrastructure, as they are expressed in the current projects, it is ensured in the long term that Cologne remains a livable home.
