This responsibility could further complicate the implementation of markets that have already been planned. The fears are justified, especially in view of current developments and the renewed discussions about security at public events.
“We have to do everything we can to ensure that the traditionally illuminated stands and decorated alleys shape the image of Magdeburg again this year,” continued Borris.
