Chaos on the raft: An adventure with Cevapcici and wine tasting at Lake Geiseltalsee!

It was a beautiful evening at Geiseltalsee when Lena and Lisa sat down on their raft to experience an unforgettable adventure. With a delicious plate of cevapcici from the charcoal grill and the view of the sparkling lake, the two enjoyed the camping feeling to the fullest. “So much fun,” Lena remarked as she watched the sunset bathe the sky in warm colors. But the evening should still have a few surprises in store.

When they moored to the second buoy, there was a lot of cheering - the mooring was successful! But shortly before midnight the sobering realization came: their raft had drifted away and they had found themselves on the shore. Despite the night driving ban, Lena and Lisa decided to start the engine again to find the buoy again. After some maneuvers and a bit of teamwork, they finally managed to reach their buoy and secure the carabiner. After all, chaos is part of it, they say, and that's exactly what made their raft vacation so unique.

A trip into the wine world

The next morning the two of them went on a little trip that took them on a tourist train to the picturesque “Goldener Steiger” vineyard. Here she met the charming Luisa, the Geiseltal wine princess. She led the two through the vines and offered them a wine tasting. With a slope of 25 degrees, the vineyard is ideal for wine growing and offers a wonderful view over Germany's largest artificial lake.

The tasting options included the fruity Bacchus and a refreshing Regent Rosé, perfect for beginners. Luisa explained the classic process of the tasting: looking, smelling and tasting – a true delight for the senses. “This is going to be great,” Lisa said happily as she prepared for the first sips. And the wine really did its best.

Visitor magnet vineyard

The Strausswirtschaft at the Goldener Steiger vineyard attracts numerous visitors every weekend. But wine tastings are also offered during the week for groups of ten or more people by appointment. Whether for family celebrations or company events, the event options are varied and the atmosphere is unique. So if you want to enjoy a view over the Geiseltalsee and a good sip of wine, this is the right place for you.

The opening times in detail: From April to October, the Strausswirtschaft looks forward to visiting wine lovers on weekends and public holidays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The bar will be open Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., but will be closed during rain or storms. So, it's better to take a look at the weather beforehand!

After their wine tasting, Lena and Lisa returned to Marina Mücheln with sunny memories. “It can go on like this,” they finally said to each other. With a detour into the unknown and a good bottle of wine, you are sure that your time at Geiseltalsee will be another great chapter in your book of life.
