Nina Holt from Harsewinkel was the team's most successful athlete and now leads the list of the most successful rescue athletes of all time at the World Games. She won numerous disciplines and caused quite a stir with her victory in the 50 meter rescue of a doll. Here she received gold, while Oppermann secured the silver medal. In the 4 x 25 meter doll relay, the DLRG team was even able to improve the world record by more than two seconds to 1:12.10 minutes.

Team manager Holger Friedrich was full of praise for his athletes and saw the team's performance as a great validation of their hard work. “We are proud of the number of medals won and the achievements,” he said positively.
