Further training for teachers: experience practice and actively shape education!
On October 28, 2025, the 16th teacher training course will take place at the Halle (Saale) regional court under the motto “Experience practice – shape education”. This event, organized by the SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT network, is not only an excellent opportunity for teachers, but also a signal of the central role of social and personal skills in today's working world. Loud HallLife Teaching these skills in career orientation at schools becomes a joint task for schools, companies and various partners.
The event offers teachers and educational specialists the opportunity to experience twelve different company tours. From 5.30 p.m. the new chairmen Julia Mayer from 2klip Workshops, Manuela Münch from SONOTEC GmbH and Dany Hambach from the secondary school “An der Doppelkapelle” in Landsberg will welcome the participants. Torsten Narr, managing director of the Saxony-Anhalt-Thuringia regional directorate, and Jan Riedel, the education minister of the state of Saxony-Anhalt, also gave welcoming remarks.
Important cooperation agreements
An essential part of the event is the signing of a cooperation agreement between SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT and the state of Saxony-Anhalt. This shows once again how closely theory and practice are linked and underlines the importance of networks in the educational landscape. Angela Papenburg from GP Günter Papenburg AG will present the activities of SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT Germany. In addition, the “That has potential” award ceremony by SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT Germany will be another festive highlight.
Another exciting element of the event is the speed dating on career orientation and educational concepts, which brings teachers together with 17 companies and partners. After an informative day, there will be a cozy get-together with snacks and drinks where participants can exchange ideas and make new contacts.
The value of teacher training
Teacher training in Germany has a high priority and is also the subject of the “Teacher Training Quality Offensive”, which the federal and state governments have been supporting since 2015. Investments amounting to 500 million euros were put into the training of teachers in order to promote the improvement of the content and structure of the educational process BMFTR. The demands placed on teachers are continually increasing, and teachers should, in addition to imparting knowledge, also educate, advise and actively contribute to the further development of their schools.
An important aspect is that teachers accompany students in a crucial development phase during their more than decade-long schooling. The practical school phases in the teacher training course are therefore an integral part of the training and help to prepare prospective teachers for the heterogeneity and inclusion of today's classes.
All of these measures and events ensure that teachers are well prepared for the upcoming social challenges, such as climate change and democracy building. This shows how important it is to work together and to train regularly. That's why the signs in the educational landscape are clearly pointing to collaboration and innovation in order to actively shape the schools of tomorrow.
