Saalekreis is looking for authors: stories for the local yearbook 2026!

What is happening with the Saalekreis local yearbook? The 32nd volume of the popular local yearbook is already being prepared in the region and will be published next year. This was reported by the Hall indicator. The yearbook provides exciting insights into the life, culture and nature of our beautiful Saale district. The special thing is that the content is largely designed by the local people.

So anyone who feels called to contribute stories or articles now has the chance to do so. We are looking for authors who want to deal with the current or historical border situation in the Saale district. Stories about formerly associated communities are also welcome. Local historians, committed associations and interested citizens are cordially invited to contribute their perspectives and experiences.

The confrontation with “homeland” is certainly one of the central questions that will continue to concern us in the future.
