The advance warning for severe weather is valid from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and brings with it some worrying forecasts. Particularly strong thunderstorms, which can lead to severe storms, are imminent. Hurricane-like gusts with speeds of up to 110 km/h cannot be ruled out. The weather forecasts speak of danger from the stormy gusts, which pose the greatest threat, especially to trees and branches as they are more vulnerable due to the full foliage. Hail with a grain size of around 2 cm can make the weather conditions even worse. There have already been warnings about a high risk of branches and trees breaking. The warning levels in detail
Different warning levels apply to the citizens of Halle depending on the risk of severe weather:
