A recent ruling by the Halle Regional Court also strengthens the right to operate balcony power plants in allotment gardens - a further step towards energy self-sufficient households.

Saxony-Anhalt is actively involved in promoting photovoltaics. The government offers various programs and financial support to encourage households, businesses and communities to invest in solar energy.
