On October 26th and 27th, 2025, the officers on Heinrich-Heine-Straße were made aware of the theft of an e-scooter. Unknown perpetrators stole the vehicle from the basement of an apartment building; the damage is estimated to be in the low three-digit range. The Criminal Investigation Department has taken over the investigation and is looking for clues to the perpetrators.

Alcohol and road safety

During a traffic stop on October 27th at 7:34 p.m., the police encountered a 42-year-old driver of an Isuzu car on Erich-Weinert-Strasse who was driving with a breath alcohol level of 1.31 per mille. The driver had to stop driving immediately, a blood sample was taken and criminal proceedings were initiated police reported.
