Kita Adventureland in Stendal receives prestigious employee seal!
There was a special occasion to celebrate in the booking and meeting rooms of the “Abenteuerland” daycare center in Stendal on November 6, 2025: The facility was awarded the state seal “The employee-oriented company – I feel at home here”. This honor comes from the state initiative Fachkraft im Focus (FIF), which encourages employers to determine the satisfaction of their employees and actively promote it. The seal is a sign of a positive corporate culture that benefits both employees and the children in care.
Participation in the initiative included a voluntary and anonymous online employee satisfaction survey. The “Abenteuerland” daycare center was headed by Bernd Mitsch, who received the seal from FiF regional advisor Heiko Wisny in a celebratory ceremony. The district administrator of Stendal, Patrick Puhlmann, warmly congratulated on the award and took the opportunity to discuss childcare issues in the region. “We should never look beyond the satisfaction of our employees and children,” emphasized Puhlmann, emphasizing the relevance of the award.
Step by step to success
The “Abenteuerland” daycare center has taken special care of the needs of its employees. As part of the annual team meeting, the results of the survey were evaluated, controversial points were discussed and solutions were developed. “This award is a sign that we are on the right track and that we take the satisfaction of our employees seriously,” says Mitsch. He also thanked Fachkraft im Focus for their support and the offer to continually improve their own structures.
In the Altmark, 30 companies can now look forward to the valuable seal. This shows that the commitment to an employee-oriented corporate culture is becoming increasingly important. “Satisfied employees are valuable resources for companies,” explains a specialist article on Skilled Workers in Focus. These satisfied workforces act as multipliers who represent the company positively both internally and externally.
A role model for other institutions
The “Abenteuerland” daycare center is the first facility from the Borghardt Foundation in Stendal to receive the seal and could therefore serve as a model for other facilities that also want to work on their attractiveness as employers. Successful participation in the employee survey makes it clear that open dialogue and meeting minimum standards of good work are mandatory for everyone who wants to strive for the state seal.
The commitment to employee satisfaction is reflected in the company's core values. This initiative shows that in the childcare industry, too, the needs of employees and the quality of work go hand in hand. The daycare center sets an example in the region and proves that if you have a good hand for your team, you can have a positive impact on the little ones.

This initiative remains an exciting example of how you can put employee satisfaction at the center of a corporate culture and how much it is worth investing in your own employees in order to optimally support today's future - the children.
