So what can owners do to prevent potential damage and extend the life of their PS5? One recommendation is to operate the console horizontally to prevent coolant from dripping uncontrollably. In addition, all ventilation slots should always be kept clear to effectively support cooling. Regular cleaning can't hurt either. Despite all the advice, an uneasy feeling remains: After all, it is unclear whether Sony will offer the affected players a solution.
