Additional caution is required: Ezogelin Gewürze GmbH has issued a recall for ground ginger from the brands Suntat, Yaren and Ezogelin. The reason for this measure is increased levels of aflatoxins, which are harmful to health and are considered to be highly carcinogenic. This was stated in a report by chip announced.

The recall affects the packaging sizes of 60g and 120g of the product “Zencefil Toz”, with a best before date of October 30, 2027.
