On Thursday evening, June 5, 2025, two alarming incidents occurred in Ellwangen, which focus on the local security Situation. At the police station, a considerable effort was required to bring it to the custody cell, since the man continued his threats and insults there. These incidents show a worrying pattern of violent behavior in the region, which is also underlined by the increase in violent crime in Germany.

special attention is paid to another incident that occurred at the train station in Ellwangen a few days earlier. Here the 32-year-old came into a dispute with a 59-year-old man who had fatal consequences. The dispute resulted in physical violence when the 32-year-old hit the 59-year-old. He fell and was brought to the hospital with serious head injuries. Unfortunately, the older man died a few days later, which led to an investigation into assault with death against the 32-year-old.
