Another important construction phase concerns the Güterbahnhofstraße, whose second phase starts from August 11th. The road, mixed water canal and various lines are renewed here. Detours are planned because there will be a full closure. The construction work is expected to last until December 2025 and cost an estimated 2.2 million euros, with the Free State of Saxony promoting around 596,250 euros.

A comprehensive bridge test is in progress, and Radeberg's mayor Frank Höhme expects a new building to be built in the medium to long term. The bridge is too low for the planned electrification of the railway line between Dresden and Görlitz, and a lowering of the tracks would be far too expensive.
