The Pavilion of Fear: Chemnitz confronts fears with art!

There's a lot going on in Chemnitz right now, and the "Pavilion of Fear" is bringing a breath of fresh air to the city's cultural scene. This extraordinary project will be on display at various locations in the city until August 3, 2025. The central focus? Dealing with the human feeling of fear, which is not entirely foreign to many of us. The pavilion will be present not only in the art collections, but also in places such as Theaterplatz and during the “Begehungen” art festival.

The concept behind the “Pavilion of Fear” uses a mixture of words, images and big questions to make the topic of fear tangible. The idea is to not only perceive fear as something negative, but also to awaken the courage to confront it, which should be an interesting perspective for many. Like those already Free press notes, this is an opportunity to confront your own fears and perhaps even transform them into a drive for personal change.
