L'Osteria conquers Saxony: New restaurants in Chemnitz, Dresden and Leipzig!
In the lively scene of Saxony, a lot is happening: L’Osteria, known for her Italian flair and generous portions, expands its presence with three new locations in the cities of Chemnitz, Dresden and Leipzig. The opening of these new restaurants is part of a strategic growth initiative implemented by Schwitzke Project. The managing director Wolfgang Sigg emphasizes the challenges: "The close sequence and the structural prerequisites were a real exam for our team", as IT-BoltWise.
The first reopening is scheduled in February 2025 in Chemnitz. Here the location at Rosenhof is realized with an area of 475 square meters. There were special challenges through the landlord's structural work, including 80 breakthroughs in the GDR panel construction. The next two openings are planned for early April in Dresden and at the end of May in Leipzig, with the location on the main street with around 500 square meters and the largest location in the Höfe am Brühl, consisting of 940 square meters, being completed in record time of only nine weeks. The latter offers 540 square meters of restaurant space and was accelerated at the customer's request, according to IT-BoltWise.
precise planning and implementation
The project in Dresden was implemented within only 13 weeks. Schwitzke Project took over the complete execution planning and the floor, wall and ceiling work. Architects and the Schwitzke team worked hand in hand to make the construction process efficiently, as Schwitzke reports. All subcontractors were integrated early, which led to an exact coordination and sophisticated logistics, while the last connections were laid while the facility was already installed.
l’Osteria, which started in Nuremberg in 1999, now has over 200 locations across Europe and is represented in many German cities such as Hamburg, Munich and Augsburg. The restaurant chains are characterized by a unique ambience - be it old buildings or modern buildings. The expansion remains a central goal of the company that is actively looking for new locations. The requirements for future locations are clearly defined: cities with at least 80,000 inhabitants and minimum areas of 500 m² are a must, such as expansion Germany.
a look ahead
With the decision to expand in Saxony, L’Osteria shows that Italian attitude to life and good kitchens are enjoying an ever increasing demand. While the industry is changing continuously, the vision of offering guests an excellent price-performance ratio remains unbroken. The L’Osteria and Schwitzke Project team has proven that it has a good hand when it comes to mastering challenges and creating fresh, inspiring places - there is something!
