The Chemnitz Rottluff model railway club, as the second oldest club in the city, will soon be opening its doors to an exciting exhibition that should attract model building enthusiasts and interested parties alike. From November 15th to 16th and on November 18th, 22nd and 23rd, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., visitors can marvel at the club's progress on the H0 club facility and the new construction of a TT facility on Blankenauer Straße 61. The focus is on the further development of the model railway systems, which are not only continuously expanded but also modernized, as blick.de reports.

However, due to a lack of personnel capacity, only selected systems are presented. The club has been reduced from 30 members in the 1980s to currently 15 members and is therefore looking for a breath of fresh air in the form of new members and committed model makers. This shows that the interest in model railways remains unbroken despite the challenges and is even more worthwhile to become part of this community.

Attractions of the exhibition

Visitors can look forward to some new attractions: a colorful Esse with an adjacent power plant, an expanded car system, a town hall, the smac and the cosmonaut center have found their way into the model landscape. These additions clearly show how much creativity and commitment is put into the project. The urban landscape in the new section of the H0 facility now shines particularly brightly and the vacant lots that previously disrupted the overall picture have now been closed.
