Dresden shines: three star restaurants keep their Michelin stars!
In the artistic and historical city of Dresden, the gastronomy scene is booming and has the mouths of gourmets watering. The current award of Michelin stars shows the outstanding achievements of the kitchen. Three star restaurants in the region successfully defended their star status in 2024. Those are the lucky ones “Elements”, the “Pleasure Studio” and that “Atelier Sanssouci”.
The “Elements”, which is located in a historic building in the Zeitströmung building ensemble, scores with clear, reduced and yet finesse cuisine as well as an interesting wine list. At “Pleasure Studio” In the Neustadt, guests can experience regional ingredients in a modern, creative version that offers equally good value for money and relies on lesser-known East German winemakers. Not to forget the “Atelier Sanssouci” in Radebeul, which celebrates an interplay of classic and modern cuisine in an 18th century villa.
Dresden's gourmet scene is flourishing
Dresden Elbland has a total of three of Saxony's seven Michelin-starred restaurants. Three other gourmet restaurants are well on their way to winning this coveted star. Dresden's gourmet scene is known for its complex flavor palettes, which include both classic and creative dishes. Reservations for these fine dining experiences are often advisable to avoid long wait times.
