Busy during the summer holidays

The busiest time is not summer, but the autumn holidays, when more than 230 flights per week are operated from Leipzig. At Leipzig/Halle Airport, travelers need a little more patience, especially on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday in the morning hours. Most travelers in Dresden travel on Monday and Friday.

The parking spaces are also very busy: there are 5,550 parking spaces available in Leipzig/Halle and demand is high with over 80% occupancy. A new P7 car park has been opened, providing 500 additional spaces. To save money, the operators recommend booking parking spaces online in good time.
