Musical memory of Kurt Grahl: St. Josef's community celebrates!

Kurt Grahl was born on September 18, 1947 in Markneukirchen and began his musical career as an organist in the Catholic Church at the age of 11. With the support of his parents and the pastor Georg Trexler, he moved to Leipzig to continue his training. Despite a stony path associated with a demolition of the Abitur, he completed his studies in church music in 1969 and took on the role of the cantor, organist and choir director in the provost of St. Trinitatis. In the course of his career, Grahl composed more than 1000 works and had a great influence on the church music of his time.
