Volleyball festival in Dresden: WT Energiesysteme Supercup - tickets now!

An exciting volleyball event is just around the corner! The WT Energy Systems Supercup 2025 will take place on October 4th in the Margon Arena in Dresden. From 5:15 p.m. the reigning cup winners Dresdner SC welcome the defending champions SSC Palmberg Schwerin. This duel is a new edition of last year's play-off final, and it will be interesting to see who can prevail this time.

The spectators can look forward to a thrilling match! Dresdner SC has the chance to defend its first title since 2021, while SSC Palmberg Schwerin is eager to get back after five years without a Supercup triumph. In the past, Schwerin was able to win the title four times in a row - but the last five years have not been a walk in the park.

Tickets and special deals

Tickets for the event are already available and cost between 12 and 28 euros. The special ticket offers are particularly attractive, including U25 tickets and discounts for group bookings of up to 50%. Season ticket holders can look forward to a regular seat guarantee and a price advantage of 30% until July 14, 2025. In addition, the event will not only be shown on site, but also on free TV SPORT1 as well as broadcast live on Dyn.

The Margon Arena has a capacity of 3,000 seats, offering plenty of space for volleyball enthusiasts from the region and beyond. Here the fans celebrate the fascination of the game while the teams put everything on one card!

A look at the Sparda-Bank Supercup

But that's not the only volleyball highlight in the near future: it starts on September 22nd in the Porsche Arena in Stuttgart Sparda Bank Supercup, where Allianz MTV Stuttgart will compete as defending champions against SSC Palmberg Schwerin. Stuttgart, which secured the hosting rights by winning the DVV Cup final, is moving to the larger Porsche Arena in order to reach more spectators. With over 5,300 tickets already sold, there will be an exciting atmosphere.

Stuttgart captain Roosa Koskelo emphasizes the special atmosphere that a home game brings, while coach Konstantin Bitter emphasizes the importance of the game as a season opener. SSC Palmberg Schwerin, on the other hand, would like to regain the title after last year's defeat.

The Supercup, which has been held since 2016, is an important opportunity for volleyball clubs to optimally prepare for the coming season. At the end of the game against Stuttgart, the Schwerin women had to leave the field with a 1:3 defeat, but some exciting rallies flew over the net and thrilled the fans. Who will have the upper hand this year?

The countdown is running! Whether in the Margon Arena or the Porsche Arena, the Volleyball Supercup promises excitement and action that you shouldn't miss.
