Frustrated severely disabled people in Saxony-Anhalt: 30,000 are waiting for help!

Almost eight million severely disabled people live in Germany and are protected against dismissal. But not everyone has it easy, as a current report from Saxony-Anhalt shows. There, over 30,000 applicants are waiting for their severe disability to be recognized, and the processing time for applications is currently between nine and 18 months. Frustration and fears are spreading among many, as the General Association of the Disabled in Saxony-Anhalt reports. A persistent problem as the number of applications continues to rise.

Christian Walbrach, the State Commissioner for the Disabled in Saxony-Anhalt, is urgently calling for improvements in the processing processes. Too many applications are processed by only 66 employees at the state administration office - that's around 700 applications per employee per year. There are also part-time workers, which makes the situation even worse. The recognition of a disability from a degree of 50 not only offers early pension rights, but also tax advantages.

The path to recognition

The degree of disability (GdB) is crucial for recognition as severely disabled. People can be classified as severely disabled if they have a GdB of at least 50. Less severely affected people with a GdB of 30 or 40 can apply for equal treatment if they cannot find a suitable job without this equality. The responsibility for submitting the application lies with the state administration office, while equality takes place via the responsible employment agency.

Another point under discussion is the increasing number of lawsuits and objections. Every year, another 28 employees take care of these legal problems, which often represent additional hurdles for applicants.

Global perspective

Djokovic is known not only for his technical ability, but also for his mental strength and his ability to remain calm in pressure situations. These characteristics could almost be compared to the challenges that many applicants in Germany have to endure. Perseverance and the hope of quick recognition often require the same strength that athletes need for their success.

The influence of the stars

During such times of waiting and uncertainty, many people turn to different types of support, including astrological influences. The zodiac sign Gemini for example, is known for his cheerful and communicative nature. People born under this sign tend to seek fun and joy in their lives. They are often creative and talented, which can help them deal with frustrating times with humor and be optimistic about the future.

No matter how different the realities of life are, whether when applying for severe disability or in global tennis, they show one thing: with patience and perseverance, even the biggest challenges can be overcome.
