A lot is happening on Lake Olbersdorfer! In August, the first beach soccer hobby cup under the direction of Ferdinand Hepper will be held here. The event will take place from August 15th to 17th as part of the legendary O-See Challenge, which has developed from a bet among friends to an internationally recognized cross-triathlon event since its foundation in 2000. To present the lake during the O-Sea Challenge in the best light, the organizers got a grip on vandalism problems by illuminating and monitoring the camera since 2023. For everyone who wants to visit the O-See, there are around 800 parking spaces available, with the price range of 1.50 euros for an hour and a half to seven euros for a whole day.
