Heat battle on the bike: Landeskrone race inspires Görlitz!

Görlitz, Deutschland - The 88th edition of the popular cycling classic "Around the State Crown" in Görlitz recently took place under breeding tropical temperatures. Raiko Schmidt, a driver of the Ü40,, on the other hand, blew up all expectations - he secured victory in his age group and also ended up in second place after he launched a decisive attack on Schlaurother Berg.

The organizing backdrop was not only shaped by the performance of the drivers. The race was largely accident -free, only a single fall of a driver occurred, which was luckily treated quickly. The injured participant is now on the way of improvement.
