A lot has happened in Görlitz in the last few days that is making the hearts of horse lovers beat faster. The Görlitz Summer Weeks, which took place from August 7th to 10th, offered exciting moments for riders and spectators. Particularly in the spotlight was the talented rider Laura Casper, who achieved excellent placings with her horse QUININO BLACK. She not only secured the bronze medal in the L class show jumping horse test (110 cm) with an impressive score of 8.4 on the first day of the tournament, but also took third place in the M* class show jumper test (120 cm) on the final Sunday with a score of 8.6. Two days earlier she also took fourth place in the L (115 cm) jumping horse test with a score of 8.5. Saxon stud administration reported.
Also at the start was André Stude, who put in a solid performance with his horse LANDSKON in the two-phase show jumping class S* (140 cm). After a mistake-free first round, he was finally able to celebrate eighth place, even if a mistake in the second phase somewhat limited his dream of an even better placing. Felix Müller also showed what he was made of and landed with his horse LAUSITZER in a respectable fifth place in the two-phase jumping test in class M* (125 cm) - with two fault-free rounds. These performances show that there is a lot of talent in Görlitz and that the equestrian community absolutely sticks together.
Successful week for Laura Casper
Laura Casper's achievements are not only a topic of conversation in Görlitz. The previous competitions, including the PRO jumping competition class L (110 cm) in Baschütz near Bautzen, where she achieved success several times, also confirm her great talent. On July 27, 2025, for example, she achieved second place in the class L jumping competition (115 cm). Her results at the various tournaments are impressive and show how committed she is in the saddle and how well the chemistry works between her and QUININO BLACK.
