Something is happening in healthcare in Saxony-Anhalt! Seven specialist departments for pediatric and adolescent medicine as well as five obstetric clinics can look forward to financial support. This funding aims to improve medical care in rural areas.
How MDR reports, the agreement was reached between statutory and private health insurance companies at the end of June and will support 129 essential clinics in Germany in the coming year. A total of 79 million euros will flow, which is 18.8 million euros more than in the current year.
Funding for facilities
The funding will benefit clinics such as the Dessau Municipal Clinic, the Helios Clinic Sangerhausen and other institutions. This also includes the Altmark Klinikum Gardelegen and the Paul Gerhardt Diakonie Hospital. This supplement is paid even if there is no financial deficit, which shows how important it is to maintain medical care.
Particularly noteworthy is the Clinic for Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine St. Elisabeth and St. Barbara Hospital in Halle. Diverse medical care
The children's center, to which the clinic is part, is equipped with a variety of specialized departments, including a perinatal center and university hospitals for neonatology and intensive care medicine.
