The fire brigade was in use for several hours to fight the flames and prevent further spread, but unfortunately the hall burned completely.

The emergency services were faced with several hundred euro pallets who went up in flames and ultimately seized the warehouse itself. Despite the courageous efforts of the fire brigade, three of their members were injured: a 19-year-old and two 34-year-old were slightly injured during the extinguishing work and supplied by the emergency services on site. The Chemnitz criminal police have already investigated the cause of the fire, which is currently still unclear. An exact assessment of the damage is still pending.

Road users in the area of ​​Chemnitztalstraße are currently expecting restrictions, since there is only a alternating free lane between Further Trift and the outcome.
