The Leipzig Film Art Fair, the heart of independent arthouse cinemas in Germany, opened on September 23, 2025 with a large crowd. This anniversary edition, taking place from September 23rd to 26th, is the first to record the impressive attendance of around 1,200 industry professionals. Since its first edition in 2001 with 30 films, the film art fair has developed into a unique forum that takes place annually for five days in Leipzig.
