The summer cinema takes place at the Feinkost at Karl-Liebknecht-Straße 36. The films start here from 9:30 p.m., from the end of May to mid-September, and a ticket costs 9 euros (reduced 8 euros). Here you can expect a familiar environment with cinema seats and the typical neighborhood feeling.
Cinema with flair
This is another highlight Open-air cinema in the spinning mill, which films from 10 p.m. and impresses with a creative ambience. There are loads of European arthouse films here, shown in a cool factory setting.
The 2 CL summer cinema takes place at Conne Island on Koburger Straße 3. From nightfall - usually around 9:30 p.m. - an exciting mix of festival highlights, cult favorites and even the odd trash film is shown. A ticket costs around 7 euros (5.50-6 euros reduced). The film nights at the Scheibenholz racecourse are similarly exciting: from July 9th to August 17th, big blockbusters and classics are presented here, creating a great event feeling.
Like a picnic in the park
With all of these cinematic experiences, it's nice to bring some of your own snack supplies. Most visitors use picnic blankets to make themselves comfortable.
