In Meißen something is happening on the streets: In the coming week it will come when five construction sites close their gates. The construction work on the Steinweg, which is carried out by Strabag, ends on July 24th. Since the beginning of July, the road has been closed on one side, while working on the drinking water pipe. Soon this important part of the city center will be pedestrian -friendly again. Work on the Telekom network on the Boselweg is also progressing quickly. The provider GDMcom Bau GmbH plans to complete his work on July 25 after the path has been partially closed since June 25th.

Completion of small projects

Another reason for joy are the renovation work of Rotzsch joint renovation and Baumdienst GmbH, which are active on three smaller construction sites on Bockwener Weg, Goldgrund and Siebenichener Kirschberg by July 22. These construction sites are part of the broadband laying and have also led to certain traffic restrictions.

But that's not all. The city will continue to struggle with restrictions after these construction sites have been closed. There has been a half-sided closure for renovation measures on August-Bebel-Straße since April 22nd to October 10th. The Bergstrasse remains closed until October 6th due to a complete blocking for new construction work and sewer renovation.
